On 15 May 2026, Me and my pal Allan went to see Andrew Dice Clay, and surely he didn’t disappoint. This was a first for me seeing him. He had made fun of a select few folks sitting close to the stage. With Andiamo, it’s mainly tables people sit at. Either rectangular (Me and Al sat at one of those) or circular (mostly those at The Roxy and Rochester).

One of the things Mr. Clay talked about during his show was people retiring to Florida and how he wouldn’t recommend it. I wouldn’t live in Florida myself but I like to visit one of these times. Perhaps I would like to live there? Probably not, I’ll take Dice’s word for it.

Dice ended the show with his version of nursery rhymes, here you go:

Oh!!!

Prior to going to the Andiamo, me and Al went to a place very close to the Andiamo called Gul Gul. I had a wishbone in my Chicken Shawarma sandwich. Gul Gul at the time of our arrival, was open for just 2.5 weeks. I remember going to this exact location back in 2020 to pick up deliveries doing UberEats, but I forgot the name of the restaurant at that time. I asked for a discount and I didn’t get it. Damnit!

The person who opened for Dice was Eleanor Kerrigan. According to Wikipedia, she and Dice had a eight year relationship. I suppose despite the end of it, the two can tour together. Eleanor did predict that the Pistons would lose the series to the Cavs, despite some boos from the crowd. She was right!

Me and Allan did not arrive to the Andiamo until 8:15p. The doors opened at 7pm and the show was scheduled to to start at 8p. The free parking was full and me and Al had to use Valet, something I always try to avoid. The show started at 8:40p, but not before Andiamo presented a preview of the upcoming shows for the next six months. I heard some annoyance from the people around me about that. I was somewhat annoyed too but I’m interested in the Steve Augeri concert in September.

RIP David Phillips
