Rush at Little Caesars Arena – 26 Aug 2026
When I saw Rush in 2015 at the former Palace of Auburn Hills, I thought I would never see Rush again. Although Geddy Lee played well on that show, Alex and Neil were having troubles. While enjoying that concert, I thought I’d never see this band again. I thought they would call it a day or just do a few slect gigs and hopefully they would come to Detroit. But in early 2018, Alex told the Globe and Mail that it was over.
When Rush announced a tour in October 2025, I was excited but also bewildered at first because they didn’t have a Detroit gig at the start. I wondered how to get to Cleveland and whether I’d get a hotel there and spend the night. I decided to wait a while and see if they would add a Detroit gig. Later, they did, so I was happy I hadn’t made any plans for Cleveland.

I’m happy to see the whole 2112 set done. They also did Bravado, Subdivisions, The Analog Kid, The Garden, and Natural Science. And of course, Tom Sawyer. Take a look at the rest of the setlist. One thing I regret now is not going to the Friday show as well. I could’ve done that. But I’m glad to see this again. For the show, I just took a few pictures and didn’t make any vids. I wanted to enjoy it without using my phone so much. I have a video link to Rush’s 2112 performance of the said concert down below.
There is much more to say, but I’m going to keep this post short. Don’t feel up to writing ten long paragraphs about the show.
