Before the five or six fans of this blog get any wrong ideas, this is not the end of this blog. However, the title of this post is the reason I’m letting you know about my creative and so-called professional life from now (31 Aug 2025) until the end of the year.
Creatively, yes, the Caillou Gets Grounded (or CGG) episodes will continue, but I won’t be able to produce them as quickly in the next three months. I do have some episodes scripted, unlike my previous episode Caillou Goes to a WNBA Game. That one wasn’t scripted. I saw a few instances of people throwing dildoes on the court of a WNBA game, and it sparked an idea. Additionally, I would like to clarify that I don’t dislike the WNBA or derive any enjoyment from criticizing it. I’m just not interested in the WNBA, and I probably have seen only bits and pieces of a game, excluding a full match of the now-defunct Detroit Shock in June 1998. Let’s not forget Malice At The Palace II.
I’m trying my absolute best to get my upcoming novel, with the working title “Burn Down The Town” out by October of this year if I go down the WattPad route. If I do go down that route, chapters will be released on a bi-weekly basis, or even weekly. I cannot say at this moment how I will carry out the publishing part at this time. When I obtain the necessary information, I’ll be happy to share it on this blog and with anyone who follows me on Twitter, X, or Facebook. I’m excited about the upcoming novel, and I look forward to sharing it with everyone!
I have been to some events in the Detroit area. I’ve recently attended a Tigers game, a DCFC game that was intense, and saw a local bar band. Besides that, from the middle of September to around Thanksgiving, I don’t have any serious plans for going out and about. When I went to Downtown Detroit for the Tigers game, I had a time limit on how long my car could be parked in the lot and had to leave it by 4 pm or face consequences.
I saw some parking lots with signs stating that if you park in that lot for more than a certain number of hours, the price will increase, or they will threaten to tow your car away. Plus, our meal sucked at Old Shillegah. It cost me $65 for a meal for my friend and me, plus two drinks. I’m kinda rich, but these rules and the lack of quality from downtown restaurants are making me reconsider my life strategy.
I’m at a critical juncture in my so-called professional life right now. So, I will be more focused on that and trying to get past this crucial time on the right foot. I would rather not say what is going on, but I’ll say this: I might lose my job at the end of the year. Additionally, they are increasing the hours. This year alone, I had a few money emergencies, with one dental emergency that cost me $2800. Plus a few emergencies, with one costing me $700 and the other about $500.
Additionally, my laptop has stopped working, and I need a fresh copy of Windows 10 to get it up and running again. Since Windows 10 will be obsolete in October, I’ll likely buy a laptop with Windows 11 soon.
I wish to acknowledge how silly and psychotic the political system has been in the United States in recent times. As a Libertarian watching both sides get too extreme, I’m guessing we will go further into chaos. We have mass shootings every day, just about, disasters to the extreme, and a whole lot more. Both Democrats and Republicans, for the most part, are not willing to reach across the aisle. And we have quite a few GOP politicians who are eager to blow Donald Trump and agree with everything he says and does. Even if the law or order he pushes appears more liberal than conservative. Outside of the United States, the hospital double bombing in Gaza bothered the hell out of me.
I’ve seen a lot of right-wing pundits bitch and cry about how the liberals are pushing authoritarianism. But with Trump pushing troops in D.C. with threats of also putting troops in Chicago and Baltimore. I’m not seeing much from the right-wing politicians and pundits screaming foul at that. If Biden did that, they would be crying foul. And left-wingers and Democrats do the same as well. However, to me, the MAGA takeover is more frightening. I’m not a fan of progressive politics, but I’ll take that over a bunch of pissy conservative white Christians (and I’m white) running the show.
This will be my last post for a while, unless something truly significant happens to me.
Peace, Love, and Fractions
