I guess this is the 566th time I’ve seen Sunset Blvd. This was a Halloween gig and finding Carmen San Diego was quite an amazing find (after 30 years, played the game first in 1992), heh-heh. Anyways, this will be a short post and I think the 6 or 7 people who often visit this blog are sick of my posts following this band. I guess I’m a psycho superfan of Sunset Blvd. Plus, I didn’t stay at this gig from start to finish. Also, I don’t think I’ll be seeing this band until New Year’s Eve. They have NYE plans but not sure as of this post where they are going for it. I hope the Diesel and it’s a ticketed event, limiting the people inside. But well see.
I haven’t played Carmen San Diego since 1999, Kellwood Alternative School in Eastpointe, Michigan did have the game in their computer lab. But East Detroit High School (now Eastpointe High School) did not. I suppose that was one of the perks of getting the boot out of East Detroit, I got to play Carmen San Diego. I do remember the game show they had on PBS, I watched it a few times. Another game I enjoyed but never saw it in my high school years was Math Blaster. I do wonder if any Carmen San Diego games are available on the Switch, but I highly doubt that. On the PC would be the best option.
Anyways, this bar gig is the last gig I’ll be going to until the day before Thanksgiving. I got big plans for that day, but besides that, I’ll be staying home most Saturday nights unless I’m invited to a friend’s place. Got to keep on making money as much as I can while I attempt to work 55-65 hours a week. I don’t think the 6 or 7 people who visit this blog don’t want to hear my work stories. Also, I want to focus more on my creative projects.
Here are some more photos of that night:
