This post is created at 9:15 AM on New Years Day 2022. A little hungover and slept for 3.5 hours. Don’t have to be anywhere until the 3rd of January, so it’s not so terribly upsetting to have little sleep. Could be worse, I’ve had sleepless nights with two twelve-hour days in a row. Anyways, I’m too hungover to make multiple paragraphs of me talking about this show, let’s just say it was nice to go back to 1987 for a while. Even though I was 5 at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunset Blvd. wasn’t limited to just hair metal. They also did Simple Minds “Don’t You Forget About Me”, and even Outfield’s “Your Love.” Tony Lewis, another rocker we lost in 2020. Betty White’s death was mentioned by the band, they placed a video compilation of her. They ended the show with one of my favorite songs, Whitesnake’s “Still of the Night.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band that opened for them called Electrik Dream had something quite interesting to me. The band consisted of five people, male lead singer also playing guitar and violin, female lead singer, male bassist, male lead guitarist, and female drummer. This female drummer wasn’t glammed up or appeared like a “rocker.” She kinda looks like the HR manager at my job. The male singer of this band joined Sunset Blvd to play the violin in Still of the Night, replacing that keyboard part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
