It was due to a drug overdose as I&#8217;ve been told. This is the fifth person I know who had died due to drugs in the past four years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perhaps it&#8217;s not the best thing to say, but it&#8217;s awfully hard to live in today&#8217;s world. A good chunk of us have our troubles and we look for ways to escape those troubles. I suppose some of us look at drugs to help us escape. One thing I need to do, is to be more aware of the folks around me and to see the signs of their possible drug use. But also, I had dealt with family members who did hard drugs (cocaine, heroin, opioids) and it&#8217;s not the easiest thing to make them stop. I could write paragraphs and many words about me trying to stop it, but this is not the best time for that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I just wish this could&#8217;ve been avoided.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had sadly lost a cousin Wednesday.
