For those who don&#8217;t know, that show&#8217;s first season was about the OJ Simpson chase and trial. Some very good acting by the actors in this show, especially Courtney B. Vance&#8217;s portrayal of Johnnie Cochran. Then I went to work four hours earlier than usual, somebody was missing. Later to see on my phone that OJ Simpson kicked the bucket. What a coincidence!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m waiting until early June to blog about the OJ Simpson chase and where I was at that time. Even this bit of news isn&#8217;t going to change that. Like that&#8217;s a big tease, I&#8217;m not a popular blogger.  The chase happened when I was leaving the 5th grade, excited as hell that Stone Temple Pilots dropped their second album Purple, and got mine in cassette format. Yes, I knew who OJ was, a great football player before I made it to this sick world. He was in the Naked Gun movies and did quite a few things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cGoodbye, Twitter world\u201d<br>&#8211; OJ Simpson <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/7sEMmfhFN5\">pic.twitter.com\/7sEMmfhFN5<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Av \uea00 (@MarioEmmet) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MarioEmmet\/status\/1778452962572198305?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 11, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When the trial was going on, my Special Ed-self didn&#8217;t know why all the attention in the world was being pushed on the OJ Simpson case. Yes, I thought he did murder his ex-wife and Ron Goldman. But to me, why in the hell was it taking so long? Why all the attention?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of it all, he was found not guilty. I knew at that time there were protests and the city of LA did not want a 1992 repeat. So, at that time in 1995 and now, I understand why the jurors felt the weight on their shoulders. One thing I wish for, is never to be a juror in a case like that, holy shit! After I found out the news about OJ&#8217;s death, I visited the mean Twitter machine (Yes, I know it&#8217;s called X) and found it quite entertaining. For a while, &#8220;burn in hell&#8221; was trending. Or perhaps Robert Kardashian and Johnny Cochran? Which realm will he go to? Hell? I better ask a psychic on that one. I do have plans to go to a psychic convention this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another item to point out is Bruce Jenner&#8217;s (I call her Bruce) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Caitlyn_Jenner\/status\/1778448234119082427\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tweet<\/a> after the death of OJ. Before Bruce became Caitlin, he (or she) got in trouble for vehicular manslaughter. Didn&#8217;t you kill someone yourself there, sir?
