I fell down the Caillou Gets Grounded Rabbit Hole

For those who are familiar with my YouTube channel WishesNetwork, I have begun my journey into making stupid-ass Caillou Gets Grounded vids. I just got done with two, Caillou Activates The EAS and Caillou Raises The Dead. The former got me 500 views in one day, a feat matched by the full release of my Toxic Spill/Zombies video. Caillou Raises The Dead didn’t fare as much as the former, but I got some more ideas up my sleeve.

Last summer, I indulged in a marijuana-laced gummy, grabbed some pita chips and hummus for my snack attack, and headed over to YouTube. Below, you’ll find a Caillou “Gets Grounded” compilation, and it cracked me up so much that I couldn’t even enjoy my snacks because I was laughing uncontrollably at this absurd stuff.

Yes, just like Trailer Park Boys, Caillou Gets Grounded is stupid as hell, but I could watch these stupid ass vids while stoned and be happy. So, as a burned-out EAS video maker, I was searching for other ideas and thought I would try CGG (Caillou Gets Grounded). I didn’t start until September because I was working feverishly on my WIP novel titled “Burn Down The Town.” I got it done on September 25 and didn’t wish to do Caillou Gets Grounded until I was nearly done with Burn Down The Town.

I plan on continuing with CGG, despite some folks not enjoying my second attempt. My plan is 2-3 videos a month. But also, in recent times, I’ve been finding myself at my primary job for 50+ hour weeks in the last three weeks. So, for the six or seven dedicated followers of this blog, that’s the reason why you haven’t seen me for a while. Also, some of my CGG’s videos will have Mr. Rod Cambridge. I’ll need to update Rod’s page on the WishesNetwork Wikipedia.

Before concluding this article, I’d like to congratulate the Detroit Tigers and the Kansas City Royals for advancing to the second round of playoffs. I expected the Royals to have a winning season, but facing the 2024 Chicago White Sox at the Tigers last series, considered one of the worst teams in baseball history, benefits the Tigers. I feel for Andrew Benintendi; he’s among my favorite players, and, unfortunately, he’s on that struggling team.
