This post will also serve as a creative update of sorts. As you folks have known, I finished my first EAS Scenario for the year 2023. Hopefully, you all enjoyed it. There were a few problems and errors as I noticed. The Orange County TV ticker would go bye-bye in the mist of a segment. This happens after the quake hits Los Angeles, so one could say the earthquake’s aftermath has screwed up the system. But really, it was my own mistake. I have mentioned that I went to a new video maker since returning to EAS flicks. The previous one, NCH Video Pad, if you put a ticker in and set it to stretch through a three minute segment, it will match it. However, MovAvi Video Maker 2023 is somewhat tricky.
If I could do it again, I would make three different tickers showing up one at a time. That, or stretch the Orange/Macomb County TV screen and make a ticker without a background. I’ll see what I I’ll do at that time. Yes, I’m still going to continue with the EAS vids. I did see a couple of comments saying the word finally. For those who are not so happy with me taking too much time, all I can say is that I have a full-time job, invest and have other things going on in my life where I can’t just be working on hour-long EAS vids all day, every day
With Super Human Intel, I’m going to make two or three more songs to end the Earthbound era. How I did things with Super Human Intel back in the day is make an ‘album’ 75-minutes or more and try to finish that within one year. I did three of them from starting at 2004 to the end of 2005. I did the same thing with all of 2021 with Troubling Times Ahead, but with Earthbound, I only did 6 songs within the span of 2022, so I’m extending my time with Earthbound by three more months. And want to do one song per month, March, April and May. After that, I’m gunning for more space Ambient tunes in the vein of Steve Roach.
Back in 2017-18, I did a website called Retro Baseball Love and I think I have all the files for it still. I need to find the right WordPress template for it and get that going. If I do get this site going, I’m not going to get a dot com for it. It would likely be listed as http://www.rthomas.xyz/retrobaseball.
From then until now, folks might see some videos I’ll be putting together that are not EAS vids. I have an old radio show audio I want to put on the YouTube and a few other ideas.
